Understanding and Supporting Neurodivergent Children - Copy

Good afternoon,

We are pleased to invite you to our Understanding and Supporting Neurodivergent Children – a free, evidence-informed online session designed to support parents in developing effective strategies to respond to their child’s emotional and behavioural needs.

This session provides practical guidance for parenting a neurodivergent child, with a focus on emotional regulation, co-regulation, brain development, and self-care for caregivers.

Program Objectives:
Throughout the session, parents and caregivers will be supported to:

Develop a deeper understanding of their child’s emotional needs and behaviours
Learn strategies for supporting emotional regulation and co-regulation
Respond to big emotions and heightened behaviours in a calm, constructive way
Build their child’s self-esteem through responsive and strengths-based parenting
Understand the link between brain development and behaviour
Access resources for ongoing family support

Cost: There is no cost to participate
